Manifesting Desires -- Meditation

I would start with one of the books that have been recommended on the universe. There are several out there, many which are perfect for beginning to learn and internalize the nature of the universe and its aspects. A deep mystical connection will begin to grow and develop within you as you learn and meditate on the universe.

As far as any problems you may have with meditation or visualization, these are typically overcome through persistence. Take things slow, and don't expect too much from your meditations. These are gifts which are common to everyone, and they can reveal themselves in many different ways. Find out what ways work for you by allowing yourself to open up to all the different possibilities found by quieting the mind after focusing on the universe or one of its aspects. Then, after you have relaxed and meditated quietly for a period of time (20 minutes or so), just record in a journal what thoughts you were having, what feelings you experienced, or what images may have popped into your head. Even if you have nothing to write, record your experience. This will help train your mind to begin interpreting the experience at a more and more profound level. Before you know it, you will find a world of possibilities opening up to you.

For meditative purposes, I also recommend some nice music which really helped to open me up to the powers and energies present within the universe.

Hope this helps, and I wish you all the best in your personal spiritual growth.
hmmm- the power of the universe totally rocks !
in my opinion - and it's just that- it is important to note that the universe is
is a live operating force within. to read and understand the make-up and all that is important, but how much more can be revealed by expirence? i'm in no way adept in the knowledge of the tree, but all the more reason to encourage all the visualization and meditation?
ya know, if i were you, and i was at one point, i contemplated the art of visualization !
is it really a pretend? does it really help to focus? what exactly does it really do !
