Manifesting Desires -- Thoughts

Manifestation works simply as is. No one person's specific teachings are the key. It is a core, basic energy that everyone can tap. Many people
have many differet roads to reach there ... simply put, everyone's
brain and thought patterns vary from one individual to the next. So
one set of words may spring and 'ah ha!' moment of understanding for
person A, but not person B. Thus we get the debate of who's teachings
are better than who's. It really is perspective, and that's it.
The basics of it is this: thought. What are your thought patterns? Do
you have something you want, and bend your will to getting it someday,
with no regard to worrying about how it will happen? Some people work
in ideas - like myself - and some work in words - like my mother. For
me, I just hold the idea of what I want ... even if it's just in my
subconcious mind. I desire it, that's all there is to it. And
eventually - even if it takes me fifteen years ... I get it.

But if you think in words, than it's slightly more complex. You have
to watch how you think, because words are a tricky thing. Always keep
your words positive. For instance, to say keep your animal from being
naughty, you might tell it 'don't you dare be bad', or you might
say 'be good'. The one with positive words is the right one. The one
with negative words is the wrong one, for what you are wanting.
Instead of saying 'I hope it doesn't rain today', say instead 'I hope
today is nice.'

And then always ALWAYS be careful of what exactly it is you're asking.
The universe/angels do not 'interpret' what it was exactly you were
wanting. Do not, for instance, say, 'I want to be thin'. Thin is ...
well ... skin and bones. Say, instead, 'I want to be fit'. That leaves
you at least with your muscle, and in all reality it is far healthier
to be fit than to be thin. Thin is ... an opinion, on basics. Fit is a
standard for your own body.
The universe/Angels are all VERY literal. And you too must be
literal in your wording, or your thoughts and ideas to get what you
want. Questions that you did not ask, will not get answered. Things
that you did not ask for, will not be given. Things that you did ask
for, you will get - EXACTLY as you asked for them.

You ask for a car.
You get given a car - it's a peice of junk, but it's a car.
So, instead, ask for a good car. Or a new car. Or a car that gets good
gas mileage. Or, better yet, ask for a car that runs! LOL

Some people claim that this idea/concept backfires. What is happening
is they are getting exactly what they asked for, when they did not
watch carefully what /exactly/ it was they were asking for. The old
idiom 'be careful what you ask for, you just might get it' is a very
applicable one.
And, the second step is the hardest of all of them. Believing. That,
literaly, is the hardest step to surmount, when you are first
starting out. But, thankfully, all it takes is faith the size of a
mustard seed for mountains to move in your favor.

Your thoughts are the power. And so long as you doubt things will work
in your favor, you are giving that power to the wrong side of the
scale. All you have to do is tip that scale just the littlest bit in
your favor.

The old indian story is another good example. Two Wolves

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that
goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two
"wolves" inside us all.
"One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed,
arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false
pride, superiority, and ego.
"The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,
kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and
faith."

The grand son thought about it for a minute and then asked his
grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

~ Your thoughts are the fodder of the wolves. Every negative thought
empowers the wrong wolf. Every positive thought feeds the good wolf.
If your good wolf is starting off this race at this moment as a thin
one, you have an uphill battle to get that one healthy. But don't
despair. Thinking patterns are just like any habit. They take time to
correct ... and a lot of awareness of your own thoughts and motions.
You have this thing called willpower - it is a very easy thing to use!

Sioux Indian Story

"My grandfather took me to the fish pond on the farm when I was about
seven, and he told me to throw a stone into the water. He told me to
watch the circles created by the stone. Then he asked me to think of
myself as that stone person.

"You may create lots of splashes in your life but the waves that come
from those splashes will disturb the peace of all your fellow
creatures," he said.

"Remember that you are responsible for what you put in your circle and
that circle will also touch many other circles. You will need to live
in a way that allows the good that comes from your circle to send the
peace of that goodness to others. The splash that comes from anger or
jealousy will send those feelings to other circles. You are
responsible for both."

That was the first time I realized each person creates the inner peace
or discord that flows out into the world. We cannot create world peace
if we are riddled with inner conflict, hatred, doubt, or anger. We
radiate the feelings and thoughts that we hold inside, whether we
speak them or not. Whatever is splashing around inside of us is
spilling out into the world, creating beauty or discord with all other
circles of life.
